1961年開場、日本ゴルフ界の名匠・上田治による設計。貫山を背景に打ち下ろし・打ち上げが組み合わされ、2段グリーンや池・バンカーの巧みな配置で、飛距離以上に「考える力」を試される名コース。11番「鶴の首」に代表される難ホールが、プレーヤーを飽きさせません。
